Monolithic Membrane 6125 (MM6125) is a thick, tough, flexible, self-healing membrane for use in roofing applications. MM6125 is a special formulation of refined asphalts and synthetic rubbers. MM6125 has been successfully used worldwide by leading architects, engineers and owners on all types of horizontal and vertical structures including plazas, parking decks, planters, tunnels, bridges, mud slabs, foundation walls and roof areas...establishing an unbeatable track record of almost 50 years.

  • MM6125 is a thermoplastic material - one component, 100% solids, NO solvents means no on-site cure failures, no two part mixing and no VOC restrictions.
  • MM6125 conforms to all surface irregularities and bonds tenaciously to an acceptable substrate (i.e., concrete, steel, etc.) eliminating lateral migration of water.
  • MM6125 is completely monolithic, no seams!
  • MM6125 is typically installed at 5.5mm thick in the Fabric Reinforced Assembly (this is more than three times thicker than most other liquid waterproofing membranes). Thickness is an important benefit in that MM6125 exhibits the ability to self-heal and better accommodate developing cracks in a concrete substrate.
  • MM6125 can be installed at temperatures as low as -15 °C (provided the substrate is clean, dry, free of snow and frost).
  • MM6125 detailing is simplified, with triple protection at all critical locations.
  • MM6125 is ideal for dead level installations; no slope required, just positive drainage.
  • MM6125 was developed to perform in a wet (submerged) environment.
  • MM6125 tie-ins from one days work to the next is easy, perfect for phased construction.
  • Most importantly, MM6125 has been used overseas in the marketplace for 50 years WITHOUT any material failures!

  • Dead Level Application - perfect solution for flat roofing. No slope is required for draining and it can withstand submersed water conditions continuously, making it the perfect membrane for flat roofs, water features, pools and green roofs.
  • Thermoplastic Material - one component, 100% solids, no solvent, no VOC, no cure time. A monolithic high performance membrane applied with no seams or laps. Fully bonded to the deck, which restricts lateral water movement between the deck and membrane.
  • Sustainable Product - MM6125 is formulated with post-consumer recycled content. Other tenents of sustainability include: in-field product longevity, recycled packaging, encapsulated meltable film wrap, long shelf life and lower heating temperature and energy consumption - reducing the product’s carbon footprint impact on the enviroment.
  • Superior Formulation - MM6125 is manufactured in a certified ISO 9001:2000 facility and carries worldwide approvals such as CE Mark (European Technical Approval ETA-05/0152), REACH compliant, China Product Approval (Jin Chai), Poland Product Approval (ITB) and Underwriter’s Laboratories Canada (ULC). The membrane can also contribute toward LEED points on a project. MM6125EV is formulated with inert clay fillers making it resistant to acids (fertilizers, building washes, acid rain, etc.), alkali, methane and numerous waste.
  • Adhesion/Cohesive Strength - toughness and tenacity ratio means excellent adhesion to substrate and cohesive strength. Superb elongation and low temperature flexibility ensure the membrane does not become brittle.
  • Cold Weather Applications - can be applied to 0°F (-18°C) and is unaffected by rain or snow conditions immediately after installation.
