The Project 

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Designed and built by the homeowners, Bryce Ardern and his wife Jules, this sunny three-storeyed home feature an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that flows out into an al fresco dining space, a courtyard lounge and a swimming pool.

The couple runs a design-and-build company, Lite House Consulting. Being the architectural designer and the builder on the project, Bryce described the process of creating a home for his own family as a “very personal journey”.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

This new build was divided into two houses both requiring full tanking and roofing membranes.

ALLCO SOLUTION

Casali Dermabit was selected as the roofing membrane due to its high quality and proven longevity. While the Allco Volclay System was chosen for the full tanking membrane in the masonry block walls and under slab to create a below ground full encapsulation.
