At Allco, we believe in making a difference where it matters most. That’s why we’re thrilled to share the ongoing success of our partnership with Rotorua Lakes High School, now entering its third year. This sponsorship continues to have a transformative impact on the school’s neurodiverse students, and we’re proud to play a role in their journey.

Over the past two years, the support provided through our sponsorship has enabled the school to fund teacher aides for their neurodiverse classes. The results speak volumes:

• Year 9 and 10 students have made remarkable gains in literacy and numeracy. Over 90% are now working at the expected levels for their age group, a significant improvement that sets them up for success in their upcoming NCEA exams.
• Even students who started far behind are seeing substantial progress, with some making leaps from primary school levels to intermediate and beyond.

Teachers and students alike have shared heartfelt feedback about the positive changes in their classrooms. From greater confidence in academic skills to stronger personal connections, it’s clear that the additional support has created a more inclusive and successful learning environment.

Looking Ahead to 2025

We’re excited to continue this partnership into 2025, building on the momentum of the past two years. The commitment to providing tailored support for neurodiverse students is already creating a brighter future for these young learners – and their community as a whole.
