Key Features
Shotcrete is the riskiest of the wall types to waterproof because the consistency of the shotcrete application relies heavily on the knowledge and experience of the shotcrete applicator. The shotcrete is usually used in conjunction with the pile retaining structure where membrane is applied to a layer of shotcrete (scratch coat) over the pile surface. Next, another layer of shotcrete, with a minimum thickness of 100mm, is applied directly over the membrane, forming a sandwich to confine the membrane.
Important: for all shotcrete projects we recommend you contact your local Allco representative or email Tech@allco.co.nz
